Azaleas at Nagushiyama

We made it back to Nagushiyama park for the Azalea festival. I'm so glad we were able to bring David along with us this year! It is such a beautiful place to enjoy some gorgeous views and impressive flowers.
They were hosting a dance competition for the festival so we were able to stop and watch some teams perform which was really neat.

David said this was the most uncomfortable slide ever, but Eisley looked like she had fun!
The azaleas are planted all the way up a pretty steep mountain. it is quite the workout to walk up the trails. I can't even imagine the amount of effort they put into planting and maintaining the huge bushes.

On our way home we stopped by Kozakibana park which marks the westernmost point of mainland Japan. It is a beautiful coastline and has a fun huge map of Japan. I didn't realize how close it was to where we live.

Eisley was super excited to play in the tidal pools filled with water. The rock formations were so interesting too!
